The Fearful Crossing - The DVD!

See the "Forty Mile Desert" of Nevada the way the Pioneers saw it!

This annual Trek follows the original route of the Gold Rush-Era pioneers to California via the Carson Route, for a 75-mile stretch between Lovelock and Fallon, Nevada. This was the deadliest section of the entire trail, due to lack of water and food for several days of travel.

Lead by local historian, Bill Adams, the trip includes many stops for interpretive talks, and avoids the pioneers' hardships by providing  plenty of food and water to all participants. People, horses, mules, and donkeys ride together for four days and 75 miles, experiencing a link to history as well as the desert's grandeur, majesty and wide open spaces . Come along!
