CARING FOR YOUR STOCK ON THE TRAIL AND IN CAMP
Mutual Grooming: Man, horse and mule on the picket line

FOOD:
We provide good grass or grass-alfalfa mix hay. You may feed as much as your animals will clean up, but please do not waste - we need to leave our campsite clean!

Bring any minerals, electrolytes, grains, or supplements that you want to feed in addition to hay.

WATER: We bring in water for each night's camp, and at lunch time. Bring buckets that you can easily carry - let your animals drink as much as they want, but then take the bucket away - in the desert we don't waste water.

TACK & GEAR: Make sure your tack and gear are all in good shape before coming. Bring spares or a repair kit if you can.

CONFINEMENT IN CAMP:
Most animals do well on the picket lines that we stretch out from the supply truck. If you don't wish to use the picket line, you may bring your own electrical tape portable pen. Sorry, we cannot allow pipe panels, as they are just too heavy and cumbersome for our support crew to pack up and haul each day.
